Happy Valentine's Day or Singles Awareness Day in my case! Daniel and I spent V-Day in our room watching Season 2 of Heroes. For those of you who don't know about Heroes, It's a TV show that is awesome and you should watch it.
Not a whole lot has gone on in the past couple of days so I'll just hit the high points.
Thursday morning we got up early to go hand out free Bible Cd's at Náměstí Míru. Náměstí Míru is a popular metro stop and in a dense part of town so we figured this would give us the best chance. We handed out 25 Cd's in about 45 minutes. The CD had different Bible stories on them that shared the Gospel. After we handed out the 25 Cd's we went around to the trash cans in the area because I lot of people will take them and then immediately throw them away. Some people will even throw them down right in front of you and laugh. Luckily, this didn't happen to us and some people even got 2 Cd's!
Then after working at the office, we went to The Pearce's for dinner. They had graciously invited us to come and we never turn down a free meal and good company! It was a blast! We had a burrito buffet that was killer! I ate a ton! We even had cheddar cheese! That is considered a delicacy here and is pretty expensive, so the gesture was greatly appreciated. Then we had banana bread for dessert and just hung out talked and watched funny YouTube videos.
Friday was pretty normal at the office. Scott gave us a video project to do for Richmond (as in Virginia, as in IMB Headquarters). We have to do a quick promo video including all the Journeymen and ISCer's for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. It should be pretty fun! We get to use the big HD video camera! That means that we are carrying around about $3 grand worth of video gear. We finished up one of the promos today and we will do the other 3 on Sunday after church.
