So, last Tuesday as you all know was Fat Tuesday! It's a time of celebration even in Prague! So, to celebrate it, some of us(Daniel, Natalie and her Dad, Stephanie, Lindsey, Samantha, and I) went to Kampa Island beneath Charles Bridge to go to Bohemian Carnivale! On the way we went by the place where they filmed some of the movie Mission Impossible! We also went by the Lennon Wall (photos at the bottom) which was really cool! We made it to Kampa Park where the celebration was going to be, but we were early so we went to a nearby art museum to goof off. There were these guys dressed up in huge 12 foot tall costumes with really long arms that looked like clowns! They were funny!
Then it was time to start the show. It started off with some guys on these cool looking stilts doing some jump tricks and then there was a fireworks show! We were all hungry after the show we went to Red Hot & Blues, an American Cajun restaurant in Old Town Square. They always have live Jazz and Blues bands playing, not to mention the great food! So, we all hung out there and watched Jimmy Bozeman with The Lazy Pigs play. They were awesome, so I bought their Cd! It was quite an experience!
