We had already finished our meal and were just sitting and talking when a group of Russian-looking college students came in and sat near us. I thought nothing of it at the time because in Prague there are so many different nationalities. Then as we went back to our conversation, we heard music, worship music! We looked around to find where it was coming from. Sure enough, it was coming from the group of Russian-looking college students. One of the guys had a guitar out and was playing worship songs while the others sang along.
Whitney and Stephanie decided that they were going to go talk to them, so they did. It didn't take long before they called Daniel and I over too. It turns out that they are Christians from the Russian Baptist Church that meets in the same room as the International Baptist Church! They were from all over! In their group, 2 were Russian, 2 were Ukrainian, 1 was from Moldova, and 1 was from Kazakhstan! It was awesome!
We sang praise songs for a good 2 hours, each person singing in their own language! Sometimes we would sing a song in English and then do one in Russian, it was nuts! Right in the middle of McDonald's! It was definitely a God thing! A good time was had by all and we are planning to meet them again next Sunday night for another McDonald's Worship Session!
