MWS (McDonald's Worship Session)

Last Sunday we met up the Russian believers again! The cast was a little different this time though. In our group we dropped Whitney (She wasn't feeling well) and picked up Natasha, a girl born in Russia, but that has spent a lot of time in America. On the Russian side, almost all of the previous cast was there, but they had added about 8 more people to their lineup! It was awesome! We sat in the same spot and started singing songs and teaching each other songs in different languages. We were having a good time! I noticed though that one of the McDonald's employee's kept checking us out and staying near where we were. I wasn't the only one to notice it because before I could say anything, Natasha got up and went and started talking to him. It turns out that he is a Russian living in Prague. He is also a musician, so us playing got his attention. So, we invited him over to play us some songs. So he did! He played 2 songs for us. They were both Bob Dylan covers and he did a pretty good job! He even asked us for some information, so we gave him some information about the Russian Baptist Church. I am curious about next week so I can see if he showed up or not. I hope he does!

This whole experience has got me thinking. This random group has only meet twice and without doing anything we have already reached out to someone for Jesus. I think this has great potential to go somewhere. I hope it grows into more then just worship and fellowship, into a full-blown ministry!
